Bus terminal I/O multimeter

03 February, 2009

The Beckhoff digital multimeter terminal adds measurement functions to its I/O system. Using the instrument with a fieldbus interface for measuring current and voltage, measured values can be processed directly in the I/O system or by the master controller. These dynamic measuring terminals are available for both the Beckhoff Bus and EtherCAT terminal systems.

Digital multimeters

02 February, 2009

The Kyoritsu digital multimeter range comprises four models: 1051, 1052, 1061 and 1062 and features colour-coded range selection switches and function buttons for ease of use.

Trip-amplifier

01 September, 2008

The Wave TTA Transmitter Trip-Amplifier is programmable to suit any common DC input type. The device will measure, monitor, convert, filter and isolate the signal, producing a DC analog output proportional to the input. It can be powered from any supply between 18 to 264 V (AC or DC), without modification, and has two fully configurable SPDT relay contact outputs capable of handling currents up to 3A.

Multifunction tester

01 September, 2008

The Kyoritsu 6016 is a 10-in-1 multifunction tester, ergonomically styled with the top cover slotting in beneath the unit while the unit is in use.

MIT and S1 insulation testers

01 August, 2008

The MIT and S1 insulation testers have been enhanced so that they now meet the requirements for use in CAT IV 600 V applications. This makes them suitable for performing measurements at the source of supply in low-voltage installations and offer immunity to high-voltage transients up to 8 kV.

Insulation resistance tester

01 August, 2008

The Megger S1-552 high-current 5 kV insulation resistance tester is designed to test high-voltage electrical equipment, assisting electricians with the testing and maintenance of high-voltage electrical equipment.

Safe field calibration

01 August, 2008

Intrinsic safety (IS) is a protection technique for safe operation of electronic equipment in explosive environments. An intrinsically safe calibrator is therefore designed to be incapable of causing ignition in the surrounding environment with flammable materials, such as gases, mists, vapours or combustible dust.

EX 800 series clamp multimeter

01 July, 2008

The EX 800 series clamp multimeter combines a 1000 A clamp meter with a non-contact infrared thermometer guided by a laser pointer.

Megger digital earth resistance testers

01 July, 2008

The Megger range of digital earth resistance testers has been extended to include a model powered from rechargeable batteries and versions with variable test frequency.

Voltage testers

01 June, 2008

The Benning Duspol voltage testers are instruments designed for safe use on live electrical circuits as an alternative to test lamps.

Multifunction measuring device

01 June, 2008

The Sentron PAC3200 is a power measuring and monitoring device combined into one single product, designed to be a replacement for conventional analog display instruments.

Power supply tester

01 June, 2008

The Prodigit 3610C combination DC load/voltage source is designed to test power supplies including chargers, adapters, linear devices, SMPSs and other devices with a DC output.

Testo relocates head office

26 May, 2008

Testo Australia has moved to a new office in Croydon South, East of Melbourne.

High-current insulation resistance tester

25 May, 2008

Need to test high-voltage electrical equipment? The 5 kV insulation resistance testers from Megger are designed to assist electricians with the testing and maintenance of high-voltage electrical equipment.

Let's be accurate about tester accuracy

19 May, 2008

There’s no doubt that test equipment needs to be accurate, as inaccurate test results can lead to potentially dangerous electrical systems being certified as safe. The way that instrument accuracy is specified, however, is not always as straightforward as it might seem.
