The EX 800 series clamp multimeter combines a 1000 A clamp meter with a non-contact infrared thermometer guided by a laser pointer.
The instrument features true RMS current and voltage measurement, peak hold to capture in-rush currents and transients, 43 mm jaw opening for conductors up to 750 MCM or two 500 MCM, Type K thermometer, 4000-count backlit dual display, data hold, min/max readings, auto-ranging with manual range button and auto power off.
Multimeter measurements include AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode and continuity.
The unit is housed in a double-moulded casing and is supplied complete with test leads, 9 V battery and Type K probe (model EX 830).
