VoltLogic energy management device
Renewable Energy Solutions Australia’s VoltLogic energy management device has been awarded Australian certification.
The AS4777 certification, the Australian standard for grid-connected inverters, means VoltLogic is now ready to connect to networks across the country, bringing its export control capability to renewable energy systems Australia-wide.
The export control capability solves one of the biggest challenges to increasing the size and number of solar PV systems around Australia.
The intermittent and variable inflows of power from solar PV commonly leads to voltage spikes, power outages and stress on the utility distribution network, with utility companies reacting by restricting the amount of power exported to the grid and in many cases any installation at all.
VoltLogic limits power exported to the grid where such restrictions apply through its unique export control functionality.
