Thorn Sienna T16 pendant fluorescent luminaire

Thorn has extended its T16 pendant portfolio with the Sienna range of slim linear fluorescent luminaires for office and educational spaces.

The pendant luminaire distributes light for optimum benefits in any office task on the desktop or PC screen. It is claimed to improve the working environment by combining wall and ceiling illumination with workspace efficiency.

Luminaires can be positioned over desks, for cellular offices, or in more regular arrays for open-plan environments.

Two miniaturised reflectors deliver an LOR of 80%, while the balanced indirect/direct lighting eliminates sharp shadows from the working surface and reduces the dependence on viewing direction, to result in a more vibrant atmosphere with increased visual comfort.

The energy-efficient twin T16 lamps can accommodate 28-54 W T16 (FDH) lamps and can be digitally dimmed or controlled by intelligent lighting systems.

The luminaires are supplied with 2.6 m of halogen-free cable and ‘Quick-lock’ wire suspension for fixing along a centre line.
