Sylvania Lighting CMI Superia Retrofit ceramic arctube metal halide lamp
The CMI Superia Retrofit ceramic arctube metal halide lamp is designed to operate on existing conventional mercury vapour ballasted fixtures without the introduction of an igniter or ballast change, as is required with other metal halide lamps.
This is enabled with the use of an ‘intelligent integral igniter’ which not only assists in the reliable start of the lamp but also detects when a lamp has reached end of life and reduces the pulse to the lamp to avoid ballast failure.
The metal halide lamps offer improved performances over the replaced mercury vapour lamp, including: colour rendering index rises to Group 2A (Ra75) compared to Group 3 (Ra40-59); twice the initial lumen output; high luminous efficacy of up to 107 lm/W; up to 10% energy reduction over replaced lamp; lumen maintenance of 75% at 20,000 h.
