Tetra Power White LED lighting for channel letter applications from GE Lumination has been improved over its predecessor, with greater brightness and power supply loading, in a lighter, more compact design.

The light delivers 66 lumens per module of white light, making it suitable for large backlit channel letter and reverse halo applications.

Designed for rough handling and service conditions, the system is resistant to impact and vibration, eliminating breakage that can be associated with glass tubes during shipping and handling. It is RoHS compliant and contains no lead, mercury or glass. The over-moulded design keeps out dust and moisture that can cause product failure.

Sign fabricators and installers can benefit from simplified assembly and installation. Longer LED loading capabilities reduce the number of power supplies needed, lowering labour and material costs.

Two versions of the system are available — Tetra Power White, which runs up to 10.36 m of LEDs across four power supply banks with a 1-module cutting resolution; and Tetra Power White XL, which provides a 7.77 m continuous run of LEDs on a single power supply bank.
