The Lumilux T5 HO Seamless lamps overcome the limits of conventional fluorescent lamps by enabling ‘endless’ strip lighting systems to be created without shadows and with minimal dark zones between two lamps because they need a minimum end-to-end spacing of just 5 mm.
Conventional T5 lamps typically have a spacing of around 20 mm between them because the two caps are in line. So if continuous lighting was required, luminaires would have to be overlapped.
The lamps feature a dimming range of 1 to 100% and a claimed average lifetime of 12,000 h.
Available in 24, 39 and 54 W versions, the lamps are designed to be utilised in a variety of applications, including cove lighting, light ceilings and design luminaires in hotels, restaurants, offices, shops and museums.
