DDLE802 is an 8-channel leading-edge lighting dimmer with a maximum load per channel of 2 A, suitable for use with incandescent, low-voltage, neon and selected fluorescent fixtures in residential and hotel room applications, where small loads are typical.
The compact dimmer is DIN rail mountable for installation into a switchboard, optionally next to circuit breakers feeding the circuits to be controlled. It features voltage regulation and soft start technologies, which are claimed to protect low-voltage lamps and increase lamp life, ultimately lowering energy usage and maintenance costs.
When used with the Dynalite range of integration accessories, the system can be integrated into a total home automation solution, which can include security, HVAC, home theatre, blind control and exterior lighting.
The device can optionally be supplied with manual override capability, featuring a rear lit keypad that provides status indication and local control of individual channels. It also features an illuminated service switch for diagnostics. A network socket located adjacent to the keypad enables convenient programming
