The SP High Power LED spotlights are claimed to save 86% on power consumption and greenhouse gas emissions on the halogen lamps they are designed to replace in applications such as indoor illumination, focused reading and task lighting, emergency lighting, concealed accent lighting and billboard illumination.
The maintenance-free lights are shockproof, have no mercury or glass in them and are designed for simple plug-and-play installation.
The lights feature low heat output and therefore lower fire risk, a claimed long life of in excess of 10 years, constant current drive and emit no harmful ultraviolet light.
The lights are available in a variety of formats to replace halogen lamps including a choice of 85-260 VAC or 12 VDC versions, PAR30, MR16, JDR or GU10 mounting bases, 3 or 7 W output and cool white, warm white, red, green, blue and yellow colour options.
