Leading-edge dimmer

The DLE220-S is a 2 x 20 A leading-edge dimmer suitable for control of large lighting loads, including incandescent, low-voltage, neon and selected fluorescent light sources. It complements Dynalite’s multi-channel dimmers by providing extra channels when additional load capacity is required.

The device provides soft start and surge, sag and spike protection and is compatible with DMX512 lighting control desks — handy features where lamp life is critical or where maintenance and lamp replacement is difficult or expensive, making it particularly suited to hotel environments, where re-lamping of lobby lighting can be inconvenient and where ballrooms often incorporate a theatrical lighting system or control desk, requiring communication with the DMX512 lighting protocol.

The unit can also be be supplied to meet the specific needs of a project through a number of available options including a second RS485 DyNet/DMX512 port, circuit breaker trip reporting, dual pole or neutral disconnect circuit breakers, an input isolator on the supply and an onboard time clock or multifunction inputs.
