The Dialight LED lighting range is designed to present an alternative to fluorescent lighting fixtures in commercial applications.
The LED luminaires are claimed to provide lower energy consumption and lower heat output lighting solutions than fluorescent lighting and are lower in maintenance, to further reduce operating costs. They also contain fewer harmful chemicals than fluorescent lighting such as mercury and, because of longer lifespans, less spent fittings end up in land fill, making them even more environmentally friendly than conventional light sources.
The range includes luminaires that are particularly suited to food preparation areas because they don’t contain glass that can contaminate food and packaging if there’s a breakage and are waterproof to withstand harsh washdowns.
