The Hitachi AAA fluorescent tube is suitable for hospital lighting applications in operating theatres, patient treatment rooms, consultation rooms, accident emergency areas and other areas that require good colour rendition of skin.
It has a cyanosis observation index (COI) of 3.3, below the Australian Hospital Standard of 3.3, and uses a high colour rendering phosphor to provide the claimed highest CRI of 98, emitting the closest light output to natural light and providing good reproduction of all colours.
The lamp emits no UV rays and will prevent discoloration and fading of objects and products while also caring for patients and staff.
The tubes have a long life of 10,000 h and are available in 20 and 40 W size lamps.
