The RiCell fuel cell system is a standalone power supply, suitable for applications in transport and environmental technology, power engineering, IT and telecommunications, such as use in tunnels as an emergency back-up generator in case of power supply failures.

It can be used to supply power to standalone measuring stations collecting meteorological data or measuring particulate matter emissions, as well as an alternative power source to safeguard critical processes in the power supply field and in power plants.

The ready-to-connect 5 kW fuel cell features an internal consumption of hydrogen which has been reduced by 16% from 75-63 standard litres/min, assisting in operating cost reduction.

In standby operation, the device consumes 200 W instead of the 400 W of its predecessor. Access has also been improved to make maintenance easier.
