Fire-rated downlights

The JCC Fireguard range of fire-rated downlights is designed for commercial and domestic applications and meets the relevant Australian building regulations, having been tested to meet AS1530.4-2005 - the fire-resistant test of downlights penetrating a floor ceiling system.

The fittings feature a bespoke lamp holder and ceiling clips designed to withstand high temperatures, plus plug and play to keep installation time to a minimum. Fireguard can be recessed within depths of 100 mm.

The range includes standard low-energy, fire-rated downlights that do not require transformers; low-voltage twist-and-lock halogen downlights (plus transformer) with lamp retainer for easy lamp removal; 240 V halogen bathroom downlight with IP65 protection against dust and moisture; 240 V twist-and-lock halogen downlight with lamp retainer for easy lamp removal and extra-large terminals allowing for loop-in/loop-out wiring and tiltable low-voltage halogen downlight (plus transformer) for directional lighting.
