Energy-efficient air conditioning

The MSZ-FB series of inverter split air conditioners are rated between 2.5 and 5 kW output and feature an ‘i-See’ sensor and ‘plasma duo’ filters for high energy efficiency and quiet operation.

The new series is claimed to deliver 13% better energy efficiency in heating and cooling operations over the previous FA series.

Conventional air conditioners control indoor temperature by using only the intake air temperature at the top of the room; however, the ‘i-See’ sensor in the MSZ-FB series moves from side to side over a wide 150° area measuring floor temperatures to ensure a more regulated temperature, avoiding excessive chilling during summer and deficient warming during winter.

The air conditioners also feature a ‘Quick Clean’ detachable front panel that can be washed and save consumers up to 30% on their electricity bill and an optional centralised on/off remote controller.
