The Dominant SSW-HLG white SpiceLED provides a consistent luminous intensity of 500 mcd at an operating current of 20 mA withstanding high operating temperatures of up to 110°C.
The miniature device uses an industrial standard 0603 (S-Spice) outline with a package height of 0.6 mm. Its design has a wide viewing angle of 160° with enhanced thermal dissipation capability via a copper base. It is claimed to offer up to 20,000 h operation, due to its enhanced resin mixture for encapsulation and low thermal resistance of the housing.
The LEDs are suitable for backlighting and other applications where there is minimal space for lighting.
