The DALI Control BM2600 is a digital lighting controller that utilises DALI - the common language between lighting and control devices to control lighting systems that include electronic ballasts, transformers, LED lights, emergency lights, exit signs, motion sensors, wall switch and touch-screen controls at both system and individual component levels, as well as monitoring their status.
The controllers are installed around a building on an ethernet network and use time schedules, push-buttons, switches and sensor inputs to control lighting on DALI communications loops.
The system is simple to install and commission, using a 5-pin ‘soft-wiring’ system that reduces labour costs, while the distributed architecture enables sections of a building to be tested and commissioned, ready for tenants as each area is installed.
Designed to reduce energy bills, each controller includes an integrated real-time clock with automatic daylight savings correction, sunrise and sunset calculation and holiday exceptions.
Occupancy detectors can be used to reduce lighting levels after a predefined period. The system can also control fans and blinds and be integrated with security and access control systems.
Changing tenancies, future expansion and new features are easily catered for at any time without alterations to wiring.
