Champion Compressors EcoPak compressors
The EcoPak compressor range combines variable speed drive and variable output control technologies to deliver energy-efficient compressed air for applications where there are widely varying compressed air demands.
The combination of variable output technology with variable speed functionality produces a versatile and efficient compressor that allows the compressor to be run efficiently at 100% load for extended periods, and to be turned down to a very low capacity with an almost linear reduction in shaft power.
The compressors are available in nine models, ranging from 50 to 250 kW. The line-up capitalises on V-drive design, which utilises WEG ‘Optimal Flux’ technology that allows the drive to adjust its calibration to precisely suit the compressor motor and enables the compressor to run continuously in 50°C conditions at 100% speed, or at minimum speed with no loss of torque. Optimal Flux reduces motor temperatures by as much as 11%, which eliminates the need for forced ventilation, minimises motor losses and improves both the efficiency and longevity of the motor.
