Sylvania Lighting UrbanWhite outdoor lighting system
The UrbanWhite system from Sylvania Lighting consists of a ceramic metal halide lamp range that is run on electronic control gear. Combining high efficacies of up to 118 lm/W with compact size, the system gives optimised optical performance in the luminaire, providing a suitable white light solution for outdoor applications.
The luminaire’s bright white light produces improved visibility in streets and urban spaces, creating a safer environment for drivers, residents and pedestrians.
Low lumen depreciation produces a longer, reliable service life for the entire system, reducing maintenance costs. The increased efficiency of the system is claimed to offer savings of 30-70%, when compared with conventional white light sources.
The lamps are available in 45, 60, 90 and 140 W, covering all the main lumen packages currently used for outdoor lighting.
