The MV1000 and MV2000 paperless portable recorders feature an expanded number of input channels and more memory than the models they replace.

The all-in-one portable recorders with integrated display, recording and communications functions can continuously record on-site changes in temperature, voltage, current, flow and pressure.

The units are claimed to weigh 10% less than their predecessors, are easier to operate, have more channels and larger memory. The MV1000 has 24 input channels and the MV2000 has 48.

When combined with an external data acquisition unit, the number of channels can be extended up to 348.

The units feature 200 MB of memory, where data can be stored for approximately 70 days at one-second intervals with a 12-channel model. This enables long-term continuous recording and is a significant improvement in recording efficiency.

Measured data can be stored in text format on removable storage media for further processing and data backup on a PC, using standard off-the-shelf software, enabling graphs and reports to be produced. A high-resolution colour LCD with a wide viewing angle is used for the data display — 5.5" for the MV1000 and 10.4" for the MV2000.
