The Megger TDR 2000 is available for rental from TechRentals to perform single- and dual-channel measurements on a wide range of metallic cables.
Active channels can be compared with each other or with previously stored traces from memory. Differential channel measurements are possible and cross talk between channels can also be identified.
The instrument features 20 km range at 0.90 VF, minimum resolutions of 0.1 m, dual-cursor measurement and intermittent fault location.
The instrument is designed for use by electrical contractors and power maintenance and telco personnel to conduct tests on telecommunications TNV-3 circuits and up to 300 V CAT III power circuits (415 V phase-to-phase) with fuse leads.
