The Hioki 3665-20 HiTester LAN cable tester provides continuity testing of UTP/STP cabling including category 6 systems.
The tester, equipped with RJ45 plugs, indicates reversed, open, shorted and transposed pairs in the cable, as well as shield integrity and distances to faults in cables up to 300 m in length. Options are available to test up to 21 cables simultaneously.
The tester features a wire map display on an LCD screen with auto back-light, indicating distance to termination or fault, as well as a calibration function for cable length and distance-to-fault determination which provides a claimed overall accuracy of ±4%.
