Infrared calibrators

The Hart Scientific 4180 and 4181 precision infrared calibrators are designed to ensure the optimum accuracy of temperature recorders and thermometers. To have confidence in temperature measurements, thermometers must be calibrated. The results of tests and measurements influence many big business decisions, meaning accuracy is essential when calibrating tools. To shut down a line for repairs and maintenance can be costly, but unplanned shutdowns can be catastrophic.

The 4180 calibrator has a temperature range of -15 to 20°C with radiometric (non-contact infrared) display accuracy of ±0.40°C. The 4181 calibrator measures from 35-500°C, with a radiometric display accuracy of ±0.35°C.

The calibrators use the target sizes recommended by the manufacturers of thermometers and feature target stability, target uniformity, 150 mm target diameter and traceable radiometric calibration.

Sample calibration procedures for Fluke thermometers are built into the tools to ensure users are up and running with minimal training.
