The Hioki CT6590 clamp-on sensor for AC/DC clamps allows measurement of AC and DC currents to 2000 A as pure AC, pure DC, half-wave and full-wave rectified currents.
The sensor works on a range of the company’s instruments, including: Hioki HiCORDER waveform recorders; the Hioki 3290 AC/DC HiTESTER, which provides current measurement to a maximum value of 3000 A peak and at frequencies to 20 kHz; and the Hioki PW3198 power quality analyser.
