Surveylab has available ike 304, a new category of rapid GIS data capture device.

The device incorporates a laser distance meter (1000 m); GPS (12-channel DGPS); digital camera (3.0 mp); digital compass; inclinometer; Bluetooth; Wi-Fi (802.11); data capture application on iPaq pocket PC; power and sync ports (USB and RS232).

What does that mean?

• Capture a GPS point and photo all-in-one;
• Laser gives distance reading to help aiming;
• Aim at a target using Live Video and Crosshair.

By incorporating a laser distance meter, compass and inclinometer, a distant point can be captured, simply and quickly.
