Ethernet test set

The LinkRunner Duo CE pocket carrier ethernet test set offers an alternative to ‘plug and pray’ deployment of carrier ethernet services, with a simple ‘go/no-go’ test set that permits fast testing of both fibre and copper links.

The test set is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket and features a mini-USB port that allows software upgrades in the field and built-in software that records test results for preparation of customer documentation, showing the condition of the service as delivered.

The instrument can pinpoint problems on the customer side using port identification, 802.1x testing, cable and connectivity tests and identification of speed and duplex mismatch. It is equipped with a small form-factor pluggable port that accommodates a wide variety of SPF adapters.
