The IQ 250 and 260 electronic energy meters are an extension to the IQ 200 meter line that provides an improvement in functionality.
The meters provide direct-reading metered values for key parameters in electrical circuits such as voltage, current, neutral current, frequency, power and energy demand and power factor.
The meters use 24 bit A/D converters that sample at more than 400 samples per cycle, meeting ANSI C12.20 standards for accuracy of 0.2%.
The meters use standard Modbus RTU communications and are available in a transducer-only format or with a display and can be integrated into Eaton’s Power Xpert architecture for a holistic system-level view.
While increasing sampling speed and accuracy, these meters allow for sophisticated power management and can therefore be used for primary revenue metering and sub-metering applications.
