Emona Instruments ‘Test Sockets in Seconds’ training video

The Emona Instruments training video ‘Test Sockets in Seconds’ for the InstalTest Combo multifunction electrical installation tester shows electrical contractors how to test sockets in seconds without cumbersome trailing leads using the InstalTest Combo.

The ‘socket-test’ performs earth continuity, polarity and correct connections tests using the InstalTest Combo’s 5 and 10  Ω resistor box connected at the switchboard. The InstalTest Combo simplifies socket compliance testing by reducing the number of tests required from four tests to a single push-button with ‘pass/fail’ indication.

The InstalTest Combo provides all of the functions of a multifunction electrical tester such as voltage, frequency, phase sequence, earth resistance, equipotential bonding, insulation resistance, RCD trip time and trip current and fault loop/line impedance/PSC. It also performs socket-outlet tests to help contractors save hours in fault-finding and compliance-testing socket outlets on electrical installations.

The InstalTest Combo also allows users to set pass/fail limits, offering a quick and simple way to carry out compliance testing across an electrical installation, from insulation resistance of an installation and RCD testing through to fault loop impedance.

The training video can be viewed by either searching YouTube for ‘InstalTest Combo’ or visiting the InstalTest channel on YouTube at www.youtube.com/instaltest.
