SL1000 data acquisition system

The SL1000 high-speed data acquisition unit uses the same input modules from the Yokogawa DL750/SL1400 family of portable ’scope-corders’ and adds a high-speed module with optical isolation and inputs up to 1 kV. It is a PC-based modular instrument that can be used for durability testing in applications such as noise-surge measurements in power supply design and combustion data such as that needed for airbags.

Each input module has two channels and up to 16 channels can be accommodated in the instrument to measure voltage, isolated input voltage, strain, acceleration, temperature, pulse, rotation and frequency.

The instrument features sampling of up to 100 million samples per second for up to 16 channels and high-speed data transfer and recording. The unit can operate connected to a PC to provide throughput of real-time data to storage or in standalone mode and store data onto an optional built-in HDD.

Up to four groups of channels can be configured with independent sample rates, which can all be displayed in the same window. This feature also reduces the amount of data saved to the HDD to increase maximum recording time.
