ABB has released the EQ family of electricity meters designed for mounting on DIN rail. The EQ meters are designed to be used in main switchboards, distribution boards and consumer units, and can be integrated into an existing system for meter reading. They fit together with other products including MCBs, RCDs and other DIN profile products.
The EQ meter display is pixel oriented, ensuring the information is presented in a clear format. The display features push-button navigation. Instrumentation functions in the meter allow it to read essential electric units including: active power, reactive power, current, voltage and harmonics.
The meters are also equipped with an internal clock, can handle up to four different tariffs and are available in different versions, either direct connected or transformer connected.
