VeEX TLS-1000 tunable laser sources

The VeEX TLS-1000 family of tunable laser sources is designed to provide high-performance testing and increased test efficiency, incorporating a maximum sweep speed of 200 nm/s.

The product features fast wavelength tuning, high power output and high power stability, with output power stability of ±0.004 dB. It has single- or optional dual-port operation with single-port 20 mW and dual-port 10 mW/port.

The product has two operating modes. In stepped mode, the tunable laser operates at a target operating wavelength, which users can tune from one wavelength to another within the operating wavelength range. In sweep mode, the tunable laser continuously sweeps its operating wavelength from the start wavelength to the stop wavelength.

Other features include internal wavelength reference; variable linewidth; laser safety class 1M; fixed or interchangeable optical adapters; system control and communication provided via RS232C and USB interfaces; good noise level (ASE) of ≥70 dB; a 2U chassis; and trigger in/out.
