Kurth Electronic KE3500 xDSL Multitester

The KE3500 xDSL MultiTest instrument from Kurth Electronic offers tests in ADSL1/2/2 + and VDSL2 environments with full exams on VDSL-Vectoring, making it a universal working tool for installers and service technicians.

It performs other functions such as ISDN and POTS test telephone, Triple Play testing for IPTV and VoIP aptitude and has the ability to do extensive copper testing to 30 MHz. With its operation concept several tests are performed simultaneously and are still configurable without the loss of synchronisation. Auto detection of the DSL service and automated measurements on the copper pair also allow fast and efficient work.

An optional ISDN/POTS interface checks all functions for the installation and maintenance of S0 and Uk0 and analog connections, such as voltage measurement, terminal simulation TE, connection and self-call tests, extensive service query, detailed information on the line status and BERT test for determining the bit error ratio. With its internal KECT interface, the product also offers full support for prequalification and troubleshooting on the copper pair up to 30 MHz.

Only in conjunction with Copper Test Option, the integrated TDR (reflectometer) can detect and localise any changes in impedance of the twisted pair, such as short circuit, disruption and water entry.
