The Fluke 2042 professional general-purpose cable locator is now available to rent. It is suitable for tracing cables in walls and underground, locating interruptions, fuses/breakers on final circuits and for tracing metallic water and heating pipes.
The instrument comprises a transmitter and receiver, digitally coded sender signal for clear signal identification and a transmitter with LCD for transmitting level, code and external voltage.
The instrument features automatic or manual adjustment of receiving signal sensitivity and switchable acoustic receiving signal for all applications (live or dead cables) without additional instruments.
