FLIR BuildIR infrared building analysis software

FLIR BuildIR is a software package specifically designed to carry out advanced analysis of building structures, by analysing images taken with an infrared camera and creating inspection reports based on these images.

The stand-alone software can create reports as .doc or .docx files directly in Microsoft Word and can be customised with personal logos, headers, footers, fonts and colours.

Typical applications include quantifying and estimating potential energy cost savings, assessing building damage and detecting humidity problems, insulation deficiencies and air infiltration.

The software features a Panorama mode to create one image from many to cover large objects or increase resolution, 10 professional pre-designed report templates, an image-grid tool to quantify geographical areas and chart plotting of the conditions during inspections.

The workspace tabs help to organise images, analyse findings and create a professional inspection report with the templates.

Quick Collection is a temporary workspace that adds images saved in different locations to speed up analysing and report creation. Links can also be created between infrared images and corresponding visual images.

The Image Editor has alarms to detect moisture, insulation deficiencies and temperatures above, below or between set levels. The Sensor tool plots graphs of conditions during inspections recorded with a data logger, useful when interpreting IR images in reports.
