VeEX VePAL CX380s-D3 test solution

The VeEX VePAL CX380s-D3 test solution is designed for analog and digital cable TV networks, featuring enhanced spectrum analysis, digital channel, DOCSIS 3.0/3.1, Sweep, MPEG analysis and Ethernet test capabilities.

The robust, lightweight chassis comes with a 7″ colour touch-screen with graphical user interface and a frequency range from 5 MHz to 1 GHz. An Ethernet LAN management port can be used for remote control, back office applications and workforce management, while fast test result transfers are possible to either a USB memory stick or by FTP upload via LAN, DOCSIS, USB Wi-Fi, USB data modem or USB Bluetooth.

The product is a true spectrum analyser with 30 ms sweep time to capture fast transient and impulse noise, and offers comprehensive SLM measurements (single channel, system scan, tilt and installation check). It can also provide forward and return path QAM measurements (MER, pre/post BER, constellation diagram, histogram and equaliser on/off mode) and advanced digital measurements for HUM, EVM, phase jitter, symbol rate error, frequency response and group delay.

The product also offers: Wi-Fi Wiz with InSSiDer SSID analysis; Wi-Fi Spectrum analyser capabilities; VoIP and IPTV; and digital fibre inspection scope capabilities.

Users can maintain instrument software, manage test set-ups and channel tables, process measurement results as well as generate customer test reports using the included ReVeal PC software. Field testing time can also be extended using interchangeable Li-ion battery pack/s.
