Product recall — Australian Performance Systems Mean Green high lift jack
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has issued a recall notice on high lift jacks purchased on eBay from Australian Performance Systems.
Buyers are advised that the Mean Green 1.5 high lift jack does not comply with the mandatory standard (AS/NZS 2693:2007) and poses a crushing hazard which may result in serious injury or death.
The product was sold nationally via the company’s eBay store. Consumers are advised to stop using the product immediately and to contact Australian Performance Systems to organise the return and refund of purchases.
