Navara D40 safety concerns

Thursday, 19 May, 2016

Owners of Nissan Navara D40s should be aware that vehicles featuring a set of Performance Suspension front extended ball joints may have a serious defect. In some circumstances the ball joints will fail, causing potential separation of ball joint components. If this occurs while the vehicle in use, it may cause the suspension system to fail entirely, causing serious injury or death.

The notice affects products made available for sale nationally between 17 April 2015 and 9 May 2016. Consumers should immediately stop using the ball joints and contact Performance Suspension to receive a replacement set or a full refund of the purchase price. Consumers can contact Performance Suspension by phoning (07) 5529 2366, via email at info@performancesuspension.com.au or online here.
