Hino 300 series safety alert

Thursday, 02 March, 2017

Hino Motor Sales Australia has announced a recall on the Hino 300 Series trucks. The vehicle instrument panel brace may interfere with the wire harness, which may cause the wire harness to become damaged by the edge of the brace, causing a short circuit. This, in turn, may cause the engine to stop whilst the vehicle is being operated.

Owners will be contacted by direct mail and should return their vehicle to an authorised Hino dealer for inspection and repair. A full list of affected vehicle VIN details is available here.
