Knitter-Switch slide switches
The range of products by Knitter-Switch available in the TME catalogue has just been extended to include new slide switches. These are both components designed for mounting on a PCB and screw-on versions. The latter are usually designed to be placed in custom-made slots in enclosures. They come in a wide range of dimensions: from 8x9.5x5 mm to 25x7.7x10 mm. Their contact pitch ranges from 2 mm to 5.08 mm.
Thanks to the wide range of sizes and the large number of operating positions, Knitter-Switch brand products can be applied in most typical settings. Moreover, models with a protective transparent rubber cap covering the front are available — such versions offer an ingress protection rating of IP67.
EATON ELECTRIC DR series of inductors
The DR series comprises components with inductance ranging from 0.33 µH to 120 mH. The products included in this group exhibit good thermal tolerance (from -40°C to 125°C) and feature magnetic shielding. This makes it possible to use them in compact voltage converters (switching, resonant), which are deployed in a wide range of equipment, e.g. computers, servers, LCD panels, consumer electronics and household appliances, as well as mobile devices. The other application of inductors is, obviously, noise and interference filters, which allow optimal operation of digital circuits and efficient communication using popular serial standards (SPI, I2C, etc.).
New MOSFET by Diotec Semiconductor
The DIT050N06-DIO model is an N-channel MOSFET. It is housed in a TO220AB package, i.e. it comes with an integrated heatsink to effectively dissipate the heat generated inside the component. This process can be further improved by combining the transistor with a larger, thermally conductive surface, as well as by using a heat sink and an active cooling module (equipped with a fan). It will make the MOSFET suitable for handling high DC currents. The DIT050N06-DIO models are able to handle currents of up to 35 A at a junction temperature of 100°C (90 A at peak). Its thermal tolerance range extends from -55°C to 150°C. The maximum permissible drain-source voltage is up to 60 V, while the typical on-state channel resistance is 14 mΩ. The transistor also boasts a short switching time.
