New waterproof AC power plugs and sockets from PCE
PCE is a well-known brand in Europe, operating since 1973 and specialising in the production of high quality AC power plugs and sockets and other electrical engineering products. The company has offices located, among others, in Austria and Poland (ISO 9001: 2010 certified).
The newest PCE products in TME’s offer are Euro plugs and sockets with IP20 or IP54 rating (resistant to dust, high humidity, and water spray). These products come from the TAURUS series2 — the successor of the TAURUS family, which has been on the market since 2012. In addition to good insulation, they have excellent mechanical and chemical durability (in contact with kerosene and oils). Thanks to these features, as well as the current carrying capacity of 16 A (i.e., approx.3.5 kW) the products can be successfully used in mechanical workshops, machinery resources, as well as on construction sites. They can be used in farm and household installations. (e.g., for garden works).
The modern design facilitates wiring and connector installation (2P+PE). Electrical terminals are suitable for conductors with a cross section of 2.5 mm2. TME’s offer includes TAURUS2 plugs and sockets in distinctive colours to improve visibility and facilitate the identification of connectors. Power sockets with lids are also available. Additionally, we offer the products in two variants: EU standard (the earth connection is made by an earth pin) and the German Schuko system.
