Watertight enclosures

The 1457 extruded aluminium family of small enclosures has been expanded with the introduction of RFI-screened IP54 environmentally sealed versions. The 1457 E series is designed to house PCBs and small electronic, electrical or pneumatic components.

Available externally finished with clear anodised or textured black painted finish for resistance to wear and tear, the RFI and IP54-rated end panel gaskets provide electro-magnetic attenuation and water and dust protection for the electronics, making the enclosures suitable for use in both electrically noisy and environmentally difficult conditions.

The end panels are available with or without integral flanges that enable the enclosure to be mounted to an external surface without having to break the integrity of the environmental and electrical screening.

The enclosures are available in six sizes, ranging from 80 x 59 x 31 to 160 x 104 x 55 mm.
