Milwaukee Tool M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC5 batteries

Milwaukee Tool has upgraded its M18 system with the new M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC5 and XC5 Resistant batteries. These will replace the M18 REDLITHIUM 5.0AH batteries, and are fully compatible with the entire M18 system, which now offers more than 250 solutions.

The XC5 and XC5 Resistant batteries deliver 50% more power compared to the 5.0AH, the company says. This increase in power provides users with the ability to gain faster application speeds and to tackle more demanding applications.

Both new batteries feature an upgraded battery construction, designed to enhance durability and extend battery life. Featuring tabless cell technology, upgraded electronics and power routing, and improved thermal management, these batteries deliver increased power, runtime and durability to keep professionals productive through demanding applications on the jobsite. The XC5 Resistant Battery also provides added protection for transportation maintenance and manufacturing environments, with resistance to common oils, greases and solvents.
