The Tajimi R04 connectors feature a tight waterproof mechanism that allows them to operate at a depth of up to 20 m when mated, making them suitable for installation in applications where there is exposure to extreme weather or high humidity.
The circular screw-coupling, solder-contact connectors are available with eight or 12 contacts, in 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 or 12 x 2 A and up to 300 VAC ratings.
The connector shell is constructed from brass and zinc alloy with nickel plating and available in panel-mount, flange-mount and inline formats.
The connectors are rated to a mated waterproof pressure of 200 kPa, operating temperature range of -25 to 85 °C at 85% humidity, 8 mΩ contact resistance and 1000 MΩ (minimum) insulation resistance at 500 VDC.
