Wall mount IR controller

The Calypso CB-1000 is a single-gang, wall mount IR button panel that offers eight programmable backlit tactile buttons, useful for controlling projectors, DVD players and other AV gear.

As a standalone controller, the IR output of the unit is wired directly to the devices being controlled. Alternatively, the IR output can serve as input triggers to Calypso Pro I/O or ION controllers, expanding the number and type of devices being controlled.

The controller set up, including IR learning, is performed using an onboard programming port and software. IR codes are learned with the built-in IR learner, assigning up to four IR codes to each button. Once programmed, the entire configuration can be automatically copied to additional units through the onboard serial programming port. The unit also offers pass-code security to lock or unlock the button panel and automated scheduled control through an onboard clock.

A set of 24 individual, pre-labelled button caps is included so that the appropriate buttons for a given job are selected and snapped onto the surface of the unit and locked down with a single-gang face plate.
