The Multi 9 range of surge protection devices has been extended to include 120 kA rated products. The range now offers an extended working life through its higher level of protection against electrical surges.
The devices are designed to protect appliances and equipment in homes, businesses and industrial plants from damage from voltage and current irregularities emanating from the electrical supply.
The importance of installing surge protection devices was highlighted in the latest version of the AS/NZS 3000: 2007 Wiring Rules, which recommended installing such devices.
