Stainless steel cable ties

Monday, 01 December, 2008 | Supplied by: CABAC

The STFCxx0-316 and STFCxx0-HD-316 316-grade stainless steel cable ties are fully coated with a halogen-free nylon coating, which gives the tie a smooth surface, and rounded edges that protect the cable and assist with operator safety.

The cable ties can be used in highly corrosive environments and areas exposed to continuous salt spray or UV radiation. The nylon coating, nominally 0.1 mm thick, protects the cable and eliminates the sharp edges, which can cut into the cables.

Available in heavy-duty (minimum 113 kg tensile strength) or standard (minimum 45 kg tensile strength) formats, the ties are supplied in either 201 mm (max 50 mm diameter bundle) or 360 mm (max 102 mm diameter bundle) lengths, making them suitable for use in a wide variety of applications.

The ties should be installed using a Cabac SSTTT2 or SSTDT stainless steel tie tool.
