Schneider Phaseo ABL4 Regulated switchmode power supplies

Schneider Electric has released a range of single- and three-phase installations for industrial machines, Phaseo ABL4.

The ABL4 provides reliability of operation with continuous protection against output overload, voltage surges generated on the output through switching inductive loads and against abnormal rises in ambient temperature.

In machine design, oversizing of power supplies is no longer necessary, as energy reserve capabilities deliver 50% of extra current for at least 5 s.

The ABL4W model also provides continuity of operation if one phase is lost. The removable plug-in terminal (up to the 240 W model) speeds up maintenance and simplifies diagnostics with LED identification of system issues. A diagnostic relay contact signals any voltage output problem and voltage adjustment compensates for voltage drop due to cable length.

The ABL4R24200 model incorporates a redundancy diode, providing a redundant power supply solution.

The Phaseo ABL4 range can be integrated fully with existing ABL8B modules, providing a range of options: protection against mains power failure with ABL8B buffer modules and battery back-up, service continuity with the ABL8RED redundancy module and selectivity of 24 VDC circuits with the ALBL8PRP output protection module.
