PULS UC10.241 and UC10.242 DC buffer modules
The PULS UC10.241 and UC10.242 DC buffer modules provide extended buffer times by utilising electrochemical double-layer capacitors (EDLC), which can provide backup times of up to 33 s for a 10 A load.
The modules offer a 10 years-plus operational lifetime expectancy. Unlike DC UPS systems, which utilise batteries, no cabinet ventilation is required. With a short charging time compared to that of batteries, the modules are rapidly ready for operation again following a discharge.
The devices maintain a regulated output voltage in buffer mode of 22.5 V and are capable of providing full output power between -40 and +60°C. Quick-release spring clamp terminals ensure wiring times are reduced.
Both devices include an inhibit digital input that, when activated, turns off the output. The modules also have buffering and ready relay outputs to provide a status back to the control system.
