The Ohmtec range of arc flash protective apparel, designed and manufactured by PPC, was developed in cooperation with the Australian electrical industry.
The apparel uses an advanced layering system which comprises shirt, trouser, coverall and switch coat, developed specifically for the electrical industry and claimed to provide protection for any risk category.
The performance of the apparel is supported by rigorous testing to ensure appropriate protection for its wearer, claiming to meet and, in some cases, exceed international arc flash safety standards. Testing has been applied to each garment combination, rather than simply the isolated layer of textile.
