Mean Well SDR single output DIN rail power supply

Wednesday, 16 December, 2009 | Supplied by: ADM Instrument Engineering Group

The Mean Well SDR single output DIN rail-mounting power supply range has been extended into lower wattage applications with the SDR-120 series of AC/DC isolation Class I power units. Typical applications include factory automation and electro-mechanical installations.

Up to 91% energy efficiency is claimed for the units in delivering 120 W continuous or 180 W peak power output for three seconds from an 88-264 VAC input.

The units are 40 mm wide and 30% smaller in size than their predecessors to save DIN rail space and 5-9% higher in efficiency.

Features include built-in active power factor correction; DC OK relay contact and protection for short circuit, overload (constant current limiting, shut down if over three seconds), overvoltage and over-temperature.
